Hunting in hot and sunny weather can get unbearable. Exposing your head in these temperatures can further worsen the effect of overheating. The Legionnaires hat style of sun cap keeps the sun off your head and neck. Providing relief and helping to keep you comfortable.
Hot weather hunting sun cap
Keeping the sun off your head and neck is important when hunting hot temperatures. Well designed headwear can achieve this. However, using heavy and restrictive fabrics can lead to clamminess. This can then lead to overheating, which is the condition we’re trying to avoid.
To circumvent this, we use ultralight and highly breathable fabrics. If fact, the cape used on this camo sun cap weighs only 40gsm. That’s half the weight of regular printing paper.
Quickly go from Legionnaire hat to regular cap
The versatility of this hat allows you to use it in different ways. Wear it as a legionnaire hat when hunting in full sun, or when you need extra camouflage. To make sure its secure, metal snaps and velcro allow solid attachment of the hat cape. When not required you can remove it and wear the hat as a regular cap.
