Taking your upper body measurements
Height Measurement
Find a flat uncarpeted section of the floor beside a straight wall. Take your shoes off. Stand up straight with your eyes looking straight ahead and your back against the wall. Have someone place a ruler on top of your head at a 90-degree angle to the wall. Measure the distance from the top of your head to the floor.
Chest Measurement
Measure under the armpit around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
The Boulder Summit Jacket uses a Regular fit
Our garments are designed with specific fit types to assist with layering.
Next to skin
This is the tightest option, designed to hug your body closely like a base layer. It wicks away sweat efficiently and creates a smooth foundation for layering.
Layering: Ideal for base layers or thermal underwear. Limits the amount of additional layers you can comfortably wear underneath.
Trim Fit
Looser than the next-to-skin fit while offering a more streamlined silhouette compared to a regular fit. It provides good mobility without being baggy.
Layering: Allows you to comfortably wear a base layer underneath and an outer shell for a complete layering system in milder climates.
Regular Fit
This is the most versatile fit, that neither restricts nor feels overly loose. For all-around versatility, a regular fit offers a good balance for various layering combinations.
Layering: Allows you to comfortably wear a base layer, extra insulation pieces, and a waterproof outer shell.
Relaxed Fit
This is the loosest option, offering maximum freedom of movement. This loose-fitting style allows for multiple layers underneath, making it perfect for a loose-fitting outer shell.
Layering: Allows for layering multiple thick garments underneath. It's ideal for layering bulky clothes in cold weather.

Built for the Field, Built for You
We ditched the traditional sizing (S, M, L, etc.) because it's a gamble! Different brands use these labels inconsistently, leading to poor fit. Frustrating, right?
Sizing Made Simple
We've made it simpler. Our clothes now use M1 to M6, with M standing for Menswear and the number indicates the size (M1 smallest, M6 largest). Easy as!

Mountain Hunting Jacket
Designed for cool days and big climbs
Expel heat when climbing, retain heat when glassing
Made to keep you warm when you’re stopped and keep you cool when you’re moving
Developed for the active mobile hunter, this cool climate hunting jacket is packed with features to help you stay focused when it matters most.
Unzip to cool off. Zip up to warm up.
Large pit zips let you quickly expel excess body heat
We believe that when you’re active, a hunting jacket designed for cool weather must allow you to regulate your temperature. You can quickly build up heat when on the move leading to excessive perspiration. Maintain your stable body temperature by eliminating heat build-up with our generous pit zip functionality.
Picture this… a cool weather hunting jacket that regulates your thermal comfort
Do you find yourself in start/stop spot and stalk situations? Maintaining your temperature can be challenging when active in cool climates. It’s, for this reason, we have designed this cold climate hunting jacket to cope with high output activities such as climbing and backpacking, combined with periods of low activity such as ambush hunting, still-hunting and glassing. We understand the needs of the mobile hunter and recognise the requirement to regulate core body temperature. Thus we have equipped this hunting jacket with features that will enable you to both retain warmth and expel excess body heat.
Cinch your collar when the temperature begins to cool
Heat travels upwards through a process called passive convection. Our collar design prevents heat from escaping, keeping you warmer when not active.
Stop updrafts making you feel cold
Having airflow up into your jacket is great for cooling off, but can be your enemy as the temperature drops. Our drawcord hem allows for the best of both worlds. Cool off or keep warm.
Don’t get left behind by old technology…this cool climate jacket features premium solutions
Breathability and warmth were key concepts when developing the Boulder Summit Jacket for cool climates. We recognised the active hunter can easily overheat when mobile, even in cold conditions. For this reason, we chose not to include a windproof membrane within this jacket’s construction as it can easily lead to user discomfort due to overheating. Rather, we employ a tightly woven face fabric to help resist the wind, backed with a bonded fleece lining for warmth retention while inactive. Ensuring that this cool climate hunting jacket will help maintain comfort levels when the temps drop or your activity levels increase.
To ensure dependable performance, we have the jacket fitted out with reverse coil YKK® zippers and Duraflex cord locks. The fabric face is factory DWR (durable water repellent) treated to help repel light showers and snow.
Easily access your pockets while wearing a backpack
You no longer need to put up with frozen fingers when wearing a backpack in cold weather. Real-world hunting experience forced us to design a cool weather hunting jacket that gives access to all pockets, whether wearing a daypack, belt bag or full harness system.
Warm your hands with integrated internal kangaroo pockets
Our jacket features long 38cm (15″) pit ventilation zippers. We have configured our pit zippers to sit lower down the torso. This has a dual benefit;
- It allows for more of the torso area to be exposed to cooling when required.
- The pit zippers sit in line with the jacket’s hand pockets. As such, they may be used as a kangaroo pocket when you need to warm your hands by cupping them together inside the jacket.
Curl up to keep warm
When you curl up you expose less surface area to the surrounding environment, preventing heat leaving your body through a process known as radiative heat loss.
You remember the feeling of shivering on those bitterly cold mornings when waiting in ambush, and how you felt warmer as you curled your body up? It’s the little things that make the difference. Our Boulder Summit Jacket is designed for cool conditions, featuring an internal pocket bag construction that enables your hands to travel upward when inside the handwarmer pockets. Allowing you to curl up when sitting in a stand or behind a spotting scope.
Zippered cuffs that allow for temperature regulation
Zip up to create a form-fitting taper to retain warmth and prevent string slap when using a bow. Unzip to expel heat and help cool you down.
Keep your jacket on in cool conditions when field dressing
Hunting sometimes requires us to get down and dirty. Zippered cuffs allow you to roll your sleeves up to prevent garment spoilage when field dressing game.
